Exhibitonism and comfort

Post by Grey »

Exhibitionism is hot. I enjoy it sexually.

However, I notice a significant portion of my enjoy of it is the idea of it being comfortable somehow. That sounds weird, so let me explain. A larger than average portion of my thoughts focus on sexual stuff. The idea that there could be a world where I don't have to hide that, where I can just open and comfortable with a significant part of my personality is just really nice. Most exhibitionism stuff doesn't line up with the weird things I'm attracted to, but even at that basic level of just being allowed to be sexual is enough.

I believe this might be part of why I like slipping sexual stuff like sprays, custom images, etc, into multiplayer stuff, or thought about using a NSFW avatar here. Just to let myself be openly sexual in a way that doesn't actually negatively affect my life.

Does anyone else have similar feelings?

I do.

I always loved the idea of living with people so close and open that casually masturbating around eachother was just acceptable behavior, and even mutually enjoyed.

It definitely wasn't all positive, but I'll leave the baggage at claim for now; my blood family were not modest people around our personal space. Nudity and sexual themes were present in my life from a... for a long time. Once I moved away and into the "normal world" I felt so suffocated by how stiff and judgmental everybody was, and to this day I am fighting off the shame I have gathered from it over time.

I can'y know your exact experiences, and you did mention it wasn't exactly perfect, but I can admit I'm somewhat envious to that experience.

I hope here and places like it are good for you, where we can be open about it, even if it is through a forum.

i am constantly thinking about this. i'm always thinking about how much nicer life would be if exhibitionism was just something casual. like nudity is normal. as normal as eating a sandwich. clothes become the choice and masturbating is as common as wearing sunglasses. ough.
it shouldn't have to be such a shameful thing to just be nude and hang out with friends or something. either at home or out actually eating a sandwich. things are just simply hotter when they're done without the idea that the things they're doing are bad or sinful. well, maybe some things are better when they are, but that depends. exhibitionism is great a lot of the time for that reason but in other cases it's just nice to be nude with someone else.

it sucks!!! sex should be positive. it's one of the reasons why we're here at all. it should be something celebrated. i wish things were like furry world all the god damn time. places like these matter so much.

before i forget to mention also, this is also why i try to mod as many games as possible to have sexual topics in them whether it's nude mods or entire sexual frameworks from LL!!! some may say i have an addiction. an addiction to making games better raaaah

I agree with literally everything you say tbh.

And yeah beyond just slipping porn into custom content upload type stuff mods are great. I also have a thing that lets me play videos as desktop backgrounds so theres usually something playing there too.

Just to add a bit of friction to the matter I basically have one main objection to casual day by day nudity, Hygiene.

I don’t know if there is like a nudist handbook or something similar; However being somewhere it’s constantly hot and humid makes contact between butthole/taint and furniture something that I worry about. And you sweat/smell/slob fetishists may enjoy that but that’s not an argument.

If that can be addressed then I could adjust to it. It would be a culture shock for me especially with other people being casually nude.

Also About the nsfw mods, I’ve gotten a bit bored with just the nude mods. I don’t know if this is a more or less perverted opinion, but I prefer an either skimpy or subtle nsfw mods.
Like for example a character wearing a sailor skirt and no underwear is way more erotic than a plain nude mod imo.

In that vein, I recommend zenless zen zero as it has a bunch of nsfw mods despite being like 2 months old

We kind of agree, actually. For me constant nudity would get egregiously boring. In fact, nudity IS boring to me. What I like is acceptable exposure and/or sexualized outfits. Or dressing in provocative ways.

The fact is, if everybody was nude all the time, it just wouldn't be notable. For example, the reason I like being watched masturbating is because it's not a "normal" thing people do. Sure, I'd like the stigma of sex to be lifted, but if it became so common that it was as vanilla as jogging, it'd lose its appeal.

That's of course speaking on the scale of society, I think daily activity among an intimate group of people would always be a comfortable and fun situation to be in.

i think these are valid points. i didn't really mention provocative outfits because i was focusing on the nude and intimate freedom aspect but i totally agree too. the concept of wearing clothes it the normal, and being nude is not. i think a good medium ground would be something like, people can wear those sexyfun outfits to show off their body but also remain hygienic [as best as they can], but public sexual acts like public indecency, public masturbation, sex, etc, are not you know. illegal or weird anymore.
though again, if on a societal scale this happened, it would lose appeal for a lot of people and it would become mundane. however, with a society that would be so sexually liberal and innovative i think they would pretty quickly find ways to make it cooler so to speak.

it's honestly more palatable perhaps that it doesn't have to be a societal scale. it can just be a thing between intimate groups like puppy says. think about companies that have a dress code that's just "wear a tie" but it doesn't specify how, so you wear a ribbon but are pretty nude save for shoes n underwear. and that would be accepted. it could either be everyone does similar stuff like that, or only you do it but there's no consequences other than now everyone is looking at you because you were brave enough to do this. maybe there's the interest.

for me personally i'm really just super big on conceptual worlds that run on sex and all the things associated with it. but, as we stand right now, having porn as your desktop constantly playing and jerking your friend off while watching a movie together is pretty cool too. :rainbow:

I think that allowing others to feel safe sharing in sexual indulgences is pretty dang important. I too fantasize about furry worlds that are more accepting and open about stuff like nudity and sexual expression, but I also mirror thoughts on practicality, like an earlier example of sanitation mentioned by ProbablyAlive; when I say sanitation, I think that if people are going around masturbating as per your example of a medium ground, there -has- to be infrastructure in place to make washing your hands more convenient. Fountains with soap dispensers, for example. Emergency clothes being readily available would also be really important: Going out nude in the rain sounds fun until it turns into hail or turns into a thunderstorm. There's going to also have to simply be more folks cleaning public spaces in general with the extra fluids that'll inevitably end up in those places.

Also, rules on consent are going to have to be strictly enforced in such a society. There's gonna have to be way more PSAs about respecting consent and staying safe, and easy to access help lines in case anything goes wrong. (along with mediators patrolling to help deter any sort of malicious activity)

Sex positive clubs or groups being sanctioned and protected or something like that would be a much easier way to get around sanitation and consent issues, since both of these things can be enforced in a much more controlled environment, and I feel it'd be the next step up from a sex positive online community where folks can be horny in peace.

yeah of course, these things are very important and necessary. i imagine if society was fully sex positive since the dawn of civilization and kept that throughout, then there would be no issues regarding infrastructure [beyond normal capitalism things if we also suppose that it followed the same technological and historical trajectory our universe followed] and rules and regulations would mostly be common sense, depending on geopolitical culture stuff.

imagine that though. imagine rembrandt's ascenscion of the cross but jesus has his cock out. i think that'd be pretty funny, especially for the historical context.
