i'm actually impressed with how horrible this is. it's like it's taking itself seriously but also not. it's like, doing a minecraft legends thing but also not??

i love to build with brown bricks with minecraft. it's the most fun you could possibly have!

Ah man they dragged poor Jack Black into this.

I've been done with TV and Movies for a while now, I think the only great movie(s) in recent memory is Barbenheimer with Barbie being to superior of the two.

And the most unfortunate thing is its animated well, I feel like (just like the Mario movie) the story will but a crappy standard story of a ragtag group of people, stumble into this 'new world', find the guide with a invested goals, and then the intrepid heroes will save the day in some slapstick manner.

and then a year later we are going to learn that the original idea was a fully 3D cgi (IMO mixing live action and 3D world is a sh*t decision)
with an way more interesting story and jokes that are less corporate and would bring in triple the amount of money

Minecraft Dungeons was okay but everything else has been awful. I stopped liking Minecraft itself after the update that introduced drowned zombies.

I always hated when Hollywood would take a song with incredibly dark, introspective subtext and slap it on a fun whacky happy time kids film. Like bruh, that's not what that song is for.

But media literacy is dead and I would not be shocked if %90 of the people who heard that song genuinely thought it was about marrying a model and having a good time.
