Deadlock thread!

Anyone else get into the closed beta? Been pretty fun getting the hang of it against bots so far, enjoying playing Seven and Wraith quite a bit. Trying my hand at Shiv and Dynamo, gotta get used to stacking bleed damage and playing a close range character for Shiv.
I know people are obsessed with Ivy the gargoyle girl as well.

Only real concern is the movement-based abilities seem a bit underdeveloped. ex: Dynamo has the wormhole thing that can also teleport teammates away, but it's so short-ranged at level 1 it's hardly worth using outside of I think increasing your firerate slightly? Level 2 and onward it still seems really short ranged compared to the basic dashes and stamina moves.

The headshot crits are nice, they train my aim to actually go for headshots, which I'm garbage at in other games like CS and whatnot.

I also really appreciate the community made builds in the shop, great that new players can just lean into learning what the largely agreed-upon build is for a character without having to use a third-party site.

I've played a couple hours against both bots and real players and I think the game is alright. Having it somewhere between a MOBA and a FPS is weird since they seem to know what they're doing.

The closest thing to this game is Smite which might as well be top down if they didn't feel like selling character skins with asses or whatever. (I've barely touched Smite so idk how much of that has happened)

McGinnis is extremely fun and I've definitely turned around matches simply by flipping from hard offense to hard defense on a dime. I'll likely end up maining her if she isn't nerfed by launch assuming I still want to even play.

I’ve only looked at gameplay so I can say that it seems very much like MOBA Overwatch. I’ll give it a try but I’m generally not a fan of FPS games.
