What are you looking forward to?

Hi! I wanted to make this thread as a chance to talk about the games that I’m looking forward to, and to also have an opportunity of what games other people are looking forward to as well.

Shouldn’t be anything surprising, but I’m looking forward to the new Monster Hunter. it wasn’t a very long trailer, but the herd of mechanics looked very interesting, and the new mount seemed cool as well.

The more upcoming game has to be the new Helldivers. I have a lot of respect for Arrowhead for making a multiplayer game that has the potential to be a lot of fun, and has the potential for a lot of things going wrong, necessitating quick thinking in order to get through a mission successfully.

To make sure this post doesn’t go on too long, my last and most favorite game I’m looking forward to is Streets of Rogue 2! It has a release date of this year, I just hope it is able to come out soon, it has a lot of new things I’m excited about like open-world mechanics, making me think it will play more like Project Zomboid…but ultimately I’ll have to wait and see!

Kinda looking forward to the Paper Mario TTYD remake. Kinda hope they branch from that and remake the first one and maybe make a new Mario and Luigi RPG for a system that isn't just on the DS lineup for once.

Call me a masochist, but I'm actually excited to see what Ubisoft has cooking for the next entry in the Assassin's Creed franchise. The open world stuff they'd been pushing for the last 5 years was really starting to stagnate, and with Mirage they pulled back on the absurd content grind they were expecting players to sit through. Supposedly the new one is gonna tweak the model even further, hopefully in a totally fresh new direction. Buuut Ubisoft is Ubisoft, so I'm curbing my expectations a lot lol

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has to take the cake for me.
My boyfriend and I have played through FF7R twice now, and Crisis Core. He has no idea about (FF7 Spoiler)

, and knowing that he'll experience it for the first time in Rebirth is insane. It got me into all the other FF games, so I'm really excited!

Bigtime Silksong and Elden Ring DLC. I am on the verge of going hollow for Silksong Other than that I'm looking forward to Light No Fire, the next game from Hello Games - cause fantasy appeals to me more in gaming than sci-fi. The Blade game from Arkane, and potentially BioShock 4 if the minor rumblings about that over the past few years are true

Imma be real, Bioshock 4 is probably gonna be ass and some multiplayer only game with no story. That or it'll be the next Garfield Kart. This is coming from a big Bioshock fan, and it'll be I think about 5 or 7 years until it's supposed to come out

I'm a slowpoke player, but I splurged on that Epic end of the year sale and picked up a bundle of Alan Wake 2's special edition with the first game remastered for $40. After I get through Control AWE, Alan Wake 1+DLC, and American Nightmare, I'll be on 2, and the DLC haven't come out yet. Maybe by the time I'm done with everything both DLC packs will be out. C:
