Since the photo/video sections are available for users to share photos and videos of themselves (be it SFW or NSFW), we want to make sure that users can be assured that their posts won't be easily picked up by someone just passing through or by the many internet scraper bots that crawl the web.
In order to do this, these sections are now inaccessible to users who aren't logged in. These sections aren't visible on the index page, and require the user to login if they try to access any topic in that board via a URL.
We basically want to make sure that your face reveals (and nudes, should you feel a desire to post them here) aren't going to get scraped by Google and plastered all over search results for your username or the website and let malicious people elsewhere on the internet to easily see what you look like.
