I had this dream last night about a pre-transition Roxy. "Boy" Roxy, for relatively rude shorthand.

Her, and her friends (Chica, Bonnie ((unmurdered)), and Freddy) were all organic and in a standard furry world, hanging out like young folk did in the 80's. Malls, record stores, arcades, diners, etc. Roxy was always the quiet, shy one. Hiding in her hoodies, even in summer. Purposely shrinking behind big, tall Freddy when somebody looked her way.

One day her and Freddy are chilling out alone somewhere and he's the first Roxy comes out to. He's silent for only a brief moment, but immediately he's sweet and kind and empathetic. Encouraging her to be who she is. It was really touching. He even suggested the name Roxanne to her (the dream never specified her deadname to me).

A later scene that stuck with me was Chica giving Roxy a makeover in her bedroom. Roxy looks at herself in the mirror and starts to cry... then cry harder. Chica embraces the thin, shivering wolf as she lets it out. It was super moving, I don't wanna forget it.

This dream was very personal to me as a transwoman, myself. My brain was surely dumping some feelings into my imagination and love for Roxy. I needed to sketch what pre-trans Roxy looked like, to me.

There she is. My dream's vision of pre-transition Roxy.

It's just a messy doodle, but I wanted to show her. That dream stuck with me, and made me love Roxy even more. Granted, for my own headcanon, but when did THAT ever stop me? *cough* Tumblr era me *cough*
