Does anyone here play SL? Got any avatars you want to show off? Cool sims to visit? Funny stories?

I'll answer the last one to kick things off.
Once, while I was hanging out in a sex club foolishly thinking someone would pay me monopoly money to sexually ragdoll with my digital corpse (as one is wont to do), I was panning around looking at other peoples avatars (as one is wont to do), and saw one still loading in. I waited to see what it would be, and when I tabbed back in I was rewarded with this.

This medieval manuscript demon, which the person had modeled every component of and ported into the game, sucked me into a nearly two hour long discussion on metaphysics, classical monsters, the evolution of horror in art, and how people weren't scared enough of hell and demons and that was why he was dressed like this in the poseball sim full of furries. It remains one of my favorite SL encounters.

Even if no one messes with this garbage dressup chatroom I'm happy to post shit I've made or seen if there's any interest. I love exploring it; there's decades of dead internet culture buried in it - barbie houses next to vampire castles and football field sized cubes inexplicably full of miserable horses as far as the eye can see.

second life has always been kind of a background fascination for me so id love to hear more!

The only time I ever interacted with Second Life was to try and get this Isabelle costume or something back in 2016-2017. I don't remember anything I did, I just knew someone made the costume accessories and I wanted to try them out but never got anywhere with it.

i hop on SL from time to time, mostly just to hang out and chat to people and sometimes rp and do poseball stuff coz im an absolute degen lol :P
that being said, SL Olly is an absolute hottie uwu

I made this avatar on a whim and went to a big hentai sim with some feral body beds hoping to make magical girls.

The sim happens to have all its dog sex furniture behind a door that only opens from the outside, and SL's interface is uh... clunky at best. Even people who have been playing for years dont necessarily know how to navigate it. Well, some normie bimbo got locked in there. Offered to let her out in exchange for a contract. She told me to kill myself so I said bye and left her to rot lol.

Its pretty hard to lock in and figure out, VERY archaic. You pretty much need a third party viewer (basically a browser) to make it playable. Cute clothes though, I almost think I know the outfit you mean. I like showing people how to play, helping them build their first stuff and showing them cool places. Be down if you ever are.

BETTER story, actually; some friends and I piled in to go exploring one night and found a place that was styled as a wizard castle that sold magic staves. One of the towers had a game that spawned giant flying spelljammer/treasure planet styled sailing ships... so obviously we stole it and slapped a flashing music playing rave light on it and flew it around mainland bothering people.
