Sonic Grift FAIL!

Note#1 : I kinda hate that I’m making the first post here, but while it’s relevant I want to mention it.
Note#2 : I am posting this here because a lot of the ‘main characters’ have very toxic communities and are very hateful in general.

I have lots of free time during work hours, so I follow some politics podcasts. And it seems that relatively recently several grifters, chud, and incel YouTubers are trying to claim that Sonic has gone woke.

► Show Spoiler : definitions

I’m sure that many of you already understand what a f*cling stupid claim that is but I’ll explain more. With Sonic 3, coming out so of these YouTubers are watching and criticizing recent Sonic media.
One example, was saying that there was no need to focus on the black person wedding in Sonic 2(missing the point that it was a set up for G.U.N)
Another example claim that SEGA has progressively made Rogue the Bat less slutty and/or skimpy over time and that E for everyone games aren’t solely kids games.

Now the awesome news is that a vast majority of the Sonic community has mocked and ridiculed these idiots and pretty much no one believes them.

Considering like all of the constant themes and messaging that the Sonic series showcases. I really think it is no wonder that 9/10 times a Sonic fan would know right away that everything that they say is bullsh*t.

This was a nice story in the various mountains of not good stories. Hope you enjoyed it.

Ahhh I thought this was going to be about the Sonic x Shadow Generations changes to Rouge. I know a few mutuals on Twitter are a bit miffed about it, I'm not really personally concerned about it.

As for grifters in general, the rule of thumb is to just remember that they don't actually care about these things. They see nothing but financial incentive for talking about things negatively in any way possible. They pretend to be passionate about the games they talk about, yet if you ask them if they've played any of them or contributed to the community in any way other than ragebaiting, they crumble immediately and move onto the next thing to ragebait.

Asmongold is a big example of this. Dude has never played a Dragon Quest game in his life, has never been involved with the community, yet here is he "raging" about how the devs have separated the "body type" and "gender" choices into two different independent prompts, and acting like Dragon Quest fans are upset about it (guess what, they aren't even close to being upset).

Ideally, you just ignore them. Don't quote tweet them and expose more people to their shitty ragebait. Don't reply. Don't engage with their dumb fans.
