Site Style Changes

I've been wanting to do some tweaking to the style of this place for a bit, so I handcrafted some new icons that have a nice splash of classic deviantArt to them. I'll be making other changes behind the scenes to other parts of the sites styling to make it a bit more classic and "campy" in a way.
For now here's some early previews!
Key differences are currently just to the icons on various places of the UI, but I intend to further optimize the style to make it both more consistent and run smoother on older hardware.

I've redone the panels, buttons, and textboxes to be slice-scaled images instead of something your browser has to manually create with gradients and duct tape. Allows me a lot more fine control over the style of things, runs faster since it's just images, and fits the bill with the deviantArt-styled icons.

The finalized style will hopefully be added by the end of the month. I may look into having the ability to cycle between background images similar to how Inkbunny allows, as well as color swaps.

Another quick update, testing out different applicable themes using this new method is actually really easy once you setup the variables and make some new images for the panels. Here's an obligatory garish Halloween theme

We're nearing 1 year since this place left the beta-test phase and was open for registration publicly! I've been hard at work getting the final parts of the site's theme all finished up before the anniversary, just to make this place even more of its own thing.
Updated forum icons, to replace the Windows 7 icons I had there originally, since they don't fit the site's aesthetic any more.

Updated topic icons, made specifically to be perfectly-sharp icons when on the index page or outside of a topic.

Updated flags to be wavy, also gave some better colors to come that looked a little bland originally.
I did have to remove Straight Ally as the "A" kept coming out really bad no matter what I did, sorry. Only 2 people used that one so they've been moved to the Straight flag instead.

New styles are a-go! Also now available is a dropdown next to the search bar that lets you pick a style without having to go to the user control panel (and also it lets guests pick a style as well!)
