at least it's not gregtech that one will actually suck you in like a succubus and never let you go.

ATM9 has Gregtech and I didn't ever touch it, ATM10 doesn't have Gregtech thankfully I've seen videos showing how ungodly long it takes to get shit done in Gregtech.

perhaps i'm biased but that grind is incredibly rewarding not just resource wise but infrastructure wise... all the pipes get soooo pretty...

Guess I'm dropping ATM10, they completely fucked up the entire Cooking for Blockheads system. Storage blocks aren't getting recognized anymore, it's apparently a bug that's been in the pack for like 6 months, so I'm going back to ATM9, maybe just starting a new world once I get back into playing in a bit.

I've tried a few times to get some friends to play Vintage Story with because it's really fun. It was a Minecraft mod that turned into its own game and has had a ton of development on it. It's slow but having a group do their own thing and works on projects makes it feel so rewarding.

Though the latest update it has leaned more heavily into the eldritch horror aspect with more enemies and lore.

I had pneumonia for the last 3 weeks so i had a lot of freetime and I decided to fall into a skyrim hole for the first time since i was like 17. i really enjoy skyrims vibe and turning it into a lite survival game is like very close to being my ideal game i think. just a big pretty open world i can tackle at my own pace with a satisfying progression loop and - crucially - a horse!!! i installed a mod that lets my horse get better as i ride it (speed, health, endurance (sprint duration) and gives it a limited inventory. i was playing with survival mode on which means you cant fast travel, so the horse is way more important. playing with survival mode on also makes food and clothing so much more important, instead of just mostly set dressing.

lately been playing a bunch of helldivers 1 and 2, kinda slogging my way through Kingdom Come Deliverance as well as getting close to finishing Yakuza 4

Aside from bouncing between Fortnite and Rocket League. I finally got around to playing

i've been getting back into bloons to play idly caus of all the lack of freetime i've had. otherwise i'd be grinding out warframe junk. oh man. both games do strange things to my brain.
