Today's update is a big milestone:
All rooms in the house are accessible, music is based on the time of day and using Animal Crossing New Leaf music as a placeholder, summoning Cream to your location is set up. All that's really left of the baseline features is a map to other locations and the inventory. Everything else is pretty much just purely writing. The upside to using GameMaker is that I can have full-on minigames be possible (like actually playing against Cream in a racing game, etc.).

Some updates from the last few days:
Finished title screen:

A new clock hand that shows you exactly how far in the current time of day you have until the next time of day

New action in Vanilla's room to get a random amount of rings (ranging from 10-50) once per day.

And finally some writing and such

Haven't touched it in a while, been pretty focused on commissions at the moment, but hope to return to this soon!

Love what your doing. Can't wait for it. Also the 3d style would work for slightly easier animations, since it won't take as long to draw everything (hand cramps), But I don't know if that's just me. But 2d art is easier for still images, since you can just copy and past an image and then tweak it. I'm not good with either so, I don't actually know, but It just seems that wah for me. But I really like how you did both even if it was to see which one you liked better or which one was easier for you
