i'm trying to expand my horizons. if it matters the only anime I've seen are Eva, One Punch S1, and the first couple seasons of MHA - and I enjoyed all of those a lot

It's quite dated but I always recommend "IT Crowd" wherever you find it.
I'm just starting this myself but there is the show called "Villainous"

I wish Graham Lineham wasn't SUCH a piece of shit because I.T Crowd and doubly so Father Ted are legit amazing british comedy shows

I've started watching X-Files recently. The episodes where they just take the absolute piss out of Muldur are great. I was way too much of a wienie to watch when I was little, just the theme song would send me screaming out of the room lmao.

Also been into 'older' anime lately. Watched Black Lagoon not too long ago, enjoyed it quite a bit. Wasn't ready for season 2 to kick off hitting as hard as it did.

These two were sex.

Recently finished Hazbin Hotel (good shit). Now I'm watching Serial Experiments Lain and some other anime on the side!

Enjoy. It can be a little dry but there's a good reason why it resonates with so many people.

Rewatching the YMS Lion King 2019 stuff again, still funny as fuck and makes me despise Jon Favreau evermore.

I just watched a film I have been meaning to for quite some time now: Mary and Max, a stop motion film from the 2000s about an autistic man and a little australian girl being pen pals. I have been putting it off because I knew it would make me cry. I cried a lot, it is a very good movie and one of the very few I have ever seen that accurately represents a part of the autistic experience intentionally without making a caricature of the subject. I consider it to be high art. It is also very funny at times. 11/10.

Hiroya Oku's (the guy behind Gantz and Gigant) Inuyashiki (NOT Inuyasha). Also, Shiki. The former is a tale of a man and a teenager both coming into possession of new robotic bodies that give them immense destructive power, with the man being much less proficient but fancying himself a hero, and the teenager being scarily attuned to his abilities and using it for his own gain up to and including serial murder in a Light Yagami style. The latter is a classic vampire story but in a Japanese setting, weird anime hair and all. Both are very violent as a warning.
